In this video, Brian David Phillips does a cold walkup and demonstrates a number test where he uses psychological forcing and non-verbal  … all » suggestion strategies to influence which number a young woman will cross out. He then moves into instant waking hypnosis effects where he suggest that the woman’s hands have magnets pulling them together until they cannot be pulled apart and then he runs the classic light and heavy hand suggestibility test. This video is one of the sets from the Walkabout Trance event held in Taipei, Taiwan, on Dec. 18, 2005. The folks from the Taipei Experimental Hypnosis Workshop (see my webpages for workshop information) held an event at the Taipei Zoo Mall in which they approached members of the public in unrehearsed cold walkups to run impromptu trance sessions. These included real instant hypnosis inductions, trance patterns, neurolinguistic programming patterns, and experiential visualizations. We are very likely to host future events of this type in Taipei.
