Hypnosis Guinea pig…should I do it?

HI all,

Just a basic odd question (nothing that yahoo answers isn’t familiar with I’m sure). I am working my way through a masters program in college and do a little modeling on the side to make money and recently I answered an add for a job that deals with hypnosis. The shoot is a video company that speciallizes in "hypnofestish" material which I’m actually not all that up on (does anyone know what that is?) The job will basically be me getting hypnotized on video and doing funny things (I’m assuming cluck like a chicken, maybe have sex with a chair, there was talk of an orgasm handshake) and then get paid. My question to you is..should I do it. I don’t have a problem with any of the routines but..something about it seems a bit off. So..I want your opinions. Should I do the shoot or not? Has anyone out there ever done any of this type of fetish modeling? Anyone been hypnotized? What do you think. Ok..thanks for sticking with me on a long ques. Thanks in advance.

The question of hypnosis being involved is irrelevant, the key word as you describe it is the word "fetish" which is described as "an necessity (typically an object/item) that is required for sexual arousal." This is something I would be very cautious about.

While it may seems like fun, but take a look at what your plans are for the future. We always see how things come back to "haunt" people from things they did in the past… And now with the internet, things can be "discovered" so easily..

What would a future potential employer think if they stumbled on to this? What about a background check? I’m not sure what your future plans are, but take that into consideration.

If this was just a hypnosis stage show, I’d say go for it. But this sounds like the video is going to be distributed, and that is where the potential problem lies. It’s the perception that could be perceived that could affect you in the future.

So I would consider carefully, after determine exactly what is involved, and exactly what you would be doing.

There is no way I would do it!
It just doesn’t sound very safe, sounds like a perverts fetish and a way to get off.
There really is no way to know what would happen to you while under hypnosis.
If you did go threw with it, if I were you, I would make sure I had a trusted friend along to make sure I was safe.

I would do it…who cares if people are getting off on you. Sounds awesome lol.

But yeah i’d go along with the last person, and have a friend go with you to make sure it’s all above board. And make sure the hypnotist has done it many times before as it can be dangerous.
