Most tapes are ok, but studying to be a hypnotist may give you more questions than answers.

I've just been ripped off by a NLP practitioner who claimed to be able to cure me completely in a single day session of 6 hours. I was subjected to the most heinous mental abuse and at the end she told me that she would need further sessions... Essentially all they do is tell you that you are responsible for everything that happens in your life. So if someone steals your car, you were to blame. If someone steals from your office, blames you and you get sacked, it's your fault. If someone steals your credit card information and your bank screws up by not sending a replacement one in time and there's a postal strike by the time it should be on its way ... you guessed it, it's your fault.
